Do you know the feeling you get when you’re packing your bags before a new adventure? That’s the feeling I live for. After loading my car with the usual adventure essentials; tent, sleeping bag, camera, boots, and happy vibes, we made tracks along the iconic Great Ocean Road. The first sight of the coast had us soaking up the summer sun and overlooking the world famous Bells Beach. It was a postcard of the Australian summer, with surfers braving the conditions and gliding through the waves. After cruising from the coast to the forest, we had reached camp for the night. Our tent nestled among the towering trees while we huddled around our fire, which struggled to keep us warm. Taking in the night sky as our foreign neighbours played their guitars to familiar songs, a memory I hope to never forget.
